Ten years ago, what seemed like a dream is now a reality. In a small room on Martin Road in Kampala, Uganda with just four people, JWTL was born. What has been achieved cannot be quantified, but most of all, it has made irreversible life changes. JWTL is now a large and ever growing non-denominational Christian Ministry in Uganda with extensions in various countries. Its origins though humble, its impact on lives is and continues to be phenomenal.
The ministry was founded in 2008 although its foundations are to be traced back to a revelation from God received in 2005 and after experiencing a period of introspection a good ahead from God was received in December 2007. It has been said, “The best ministries always know what they do best. “From the very beginning, JWTL was an all-inclusive ministry which laid an emphasis on unveiling the Bible Truth and aiding lives need. As the ministry grew, so did the members, partners and friends thus developing into a worldwide loving family.
Over the years of dynamic Bible Truth Seminars and outreaches, JWTL grew so inexplicably which led to an overwhelming demand of its services and activities all over Uganda and globally. In December 2008, the International School of Christian Growth (ISCG) was established as an answer to the merged demands with a mission of training and equipping Christians for ministry thus raising unashamed workmen of Jesus Christ to help in ministry.
In 2009, in response to the demand for our message to reach the multitudes countrywide we started weekly radio broadcasts on various stations known as “The Bible Truth” Broadcasts. The broadcasts could not quench people’s thirstiness for God’s Word thus a family fellowship was born in 2010 called Jesus Christ Church International (JCC) with about 8 members which has grown to hundreds to the present day. With an irresistible love of sharing the truth with none family members, a great solution of a weekly Television broadcast was started in 2011.
An interest of ministering to children and youth gave birth to Bible Truth Camps (BTC) in 2011. As these merged successful, compassion for vulnerable communities filled up our hearts thus launching “You are Valuable” Outreach Program in 2014 with an intention of reaching out to the precious lives in Prisons, Hospitals, and villages etc. with a holistic gospel of Jesus Christ.
As our impact grew on individuals and societies so did our desire to support active leaders and pastors in different communities. This led to Body of Christ Fellowship (BCF) in 2017, a unique platform for pastors and Leaders from various churches, ministries and organizations.
In 2018 a fabulous project, Revealing Christ Everywhere (RCE) was set in place to spearhead taking the Gospel of Christ by JWTL globally by holding seminars, starting bible schools, etc.
Confidently when you watch and hear the JWTL steady progress and the spectacular achievements over the years, it’s evident that it’s God at work in and through us. Tracing back our humble beginnings with 4 family members into a global family with hundreds of members.
The irrevocable impact JWTL has made on hundreds and thousands of precious lives globally, leaves us with infinite Joy and gratification in our hearts as well as illimitable thanks to God.
