Access to clean water is an absolute necessity and a right of everyone as well as a very imperative component in transforming communities around the world.
A successful water project is more than excavation of a well and seeing water flowing but a witness to a lifetime impact on personal lives and communities. In the same breathe its vital to echo that this project aims at seeing lives changed.
It’s vital to note that a comprehensive, sustainable and all-benefiting water project to be setup in any community, requires time, commitment, investment, progress evaluation and above it all, is the passion to care and value for the wellbeing of the lives of God’s people more than hardware used for the well.
The love and care for precious lives around the globe prompted the launch of this incredible project. Access to clean, safe water is not a one-time fix. It’s only helpful if it remains…for life. Our ultimate goal is to ensure this happens all over.
The ministry intends to use this project as an essential tool in achieving its all-benefiting vision of Unveiling the bible Truth and aiding lives in need. The water project aims at providing access to clean and safe water worldwide, to precious lives in areas where it’s hard to get it. This will contribute heavily to the quality of people’s wellbeing and healthy which finally aids community transformation.
TWP like any other global project, its implementation will be in several phases. Each phase lasts for a duration of 3 years, and targets establishing a number of wells in various areas affected by lack of clean water in the selected countries.
Uganda:
In June 2019, TWP launched its 1st well which shall provide access to free and clean water to the inhabitants of Butiikwa – Kiwoko village in Nakaseke District of Uganda found in East Africa. Once this well is successfully accomplished, an estimate of 1000 precious lives of the stated village will benefit from the project.
This water project in Uganda, is being implemented under 4 various stages. The 1st stage which involved; survey, community selection, Well excavation and building was successfully completed in July 2019 and there remains only three (3) stages and the community will then access the free and clean water.
For the success of all our water projects worldwide this criteria is followed;
- Survey and community selection.
- Well excavation, building and water tank tower mounting.
- Installation of a submersible pump and a reserve water tank.
- Operation training and official handover ceremony.
- Monitoring, Evaluation and maintenance.
